Master Dawn-Marie Sardiņas earned her 4th degree black belt in 2007. She was born and raised in Connecticut, and after a brief experience in a college Taekwon-Do club, she began her training in earnest in February 1996 under Master Brian Douglas, a student of Grandmaster Kim, Suk Jun.

In February 1999 Master Sardiņas moved to New York City to pursue her singing career and was deeply honored to begin studying Taekwon-Do with her teacher's teacher Grandmaster Kim. She received her 1st Degree black belt in October of 1999 and immediately began teaching under Grandmaster Kim's guidance.
Master Sardiņas has over 10 years of teaching experience. She has created and delivered children's Taekwon-Do programs for ages 3 and up for City University of New York (CUNY), Learning through Expanded Arts Programming (LEAP), The Allen Stevenson School, The Epiphany School and others. These programs were well-attended and many continue to be successful today.

Master Sardiņas believes in the tenets of traditional Taekwon-Do (Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self-Control and Indomitable Spirit) and what they make available to her students as they grow as martial artists and as people. She is committed to develop and support all of her students in being successful, both in and out of the Taekwon-Do school. Her students consistently exceed expectations and have fun!
In addition to being a dedicated teacher, Master Sardiņas has competed regularly in the North East and is a consistent champion in Sparring, Breaking and Forms.
Master Sardiņas holds a Bachelor of Music from Western Connecticut State University and has completed postgraduate coursework in Education. She continues to train and develop herself under Grandmaster Kim.
